Teaching
Teaching the Word of God is a primary means of personal and corporate spiritual health. Therefore, Christ Baptist Church values the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The leadership of this church is committed to the Bible as the actual content of all our teaching.
“The Word of God is the means by which God accomplishes his saving work in his people, and this is a work that no evangelist and no preacher can do. This is why the dearth of serious, sustained biblical preaching in the Church today is a serious matter. Worship
We were created to worship God. All of life is to be lived to the praise and glory of Jesus Christ. We gather on Sunday mornings to join with other believers to express our adoration to our God. Christ Baptist Church experiences worship that is joyfully reverent. God is to be worshipped in the way in which He has ordained: with reverence and joy. As a Bible-believing church, we sing songs that have substantial Biblical content, which includes psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16).
Family
Christ Baptist Church values families. We desire to help families fulfill their God-given purpose. The parents of the church are primarily responsible for the spiritual lives of their children. Our ministries to children are intended to support and encourage parents through solid Biblical teaching and genuine personal relationships. We pray that all children under our guidance will, by God's grace, treasure Christ as Savior and Lord.

Ministry
At Christ Baptist Church, each member is expected to use their gifts, passions, and resources for the good of the church and the glory of God. We believe God has given each believer specific spiritual gifts that are to be used to build the body of Christ. Since we are a new church, we have many opportunities for you to serve and get involved.
Care Groups
Galatians 6:2: "Bear one another's burdens..."
We believe that care groups are one of the ways we experience "life together" as the body of Christ. We need each other as we pursue Christ. Our care groups currently meet on Sunday evenings.
Purposes of care groups:
- to cultivate genuine fellowship with each other
- to get to know each other better
- to better hold each other accountable
- to apply the Sunday morning sermon to our lives
- to utilize our spiritual gifts in serving each other
- to pray intentionally for each other
- to grow in our commitment to and love for Christ
Women's Ministry
The purpose of Christ Baptist Church's Women's Ministry is to provide women opportunities to minister together, with older women discipling younger women and all ministering to each other. Our focus is on Bible study and service to others inside and outside the church. All women (visitors and members) are encouraged to join us as we build caring friendships with one another and grow in Christ together.
- Each month in our Grace Groups the women gather for Bible study, fellowship, and mission projects.
- Twice a month the women meet for a book study on Wednesdays at lunch.
- Quarterly the women come together for a casual Front Porch Fellowship where we build relationships while having fun together.
- Our Bereavement Ministry is on stand-by to care for the needs of those suffering from the loss of a loved one.
